Pogue's Macworld Magazine Column
The Desktop Critic
The Desktop Critic, that's the name of the back-page column in Macworld Magazine. My goal: 800 words a month of always funny, sometimes thought-provoking commentary on the Macintosh, Apple, Microsoft, and other freaks of nature. My home from 1991 until 2001, when I moved to the New York Times.
Winner of Computer Press Association "Best Column" awards in 1997 and 2000.
